Connecting Integrations

Integrations are the accounts agents act through on your behalf — connect yours once, and every agent you run can use them.

What integrations are

Some agent work goes beyond analysis: browsing and attaching your Google Drive files, or searching Slack and posting a deliverable to a channel. For that, an agent needs to act as you — and that's what an integration is: your own account, connected to Omega with your permission.

Each connection is personal. Only you — and the agents you run — can use it. Connecting your Slack doesn't give anyone else on the team access to it.

Where to connect

Your connections live in Settings:

  1. Open Settings from your profile menu.

  2. Switch to the My preferences page.

  3. Scroll to My connections. You'll see the available services — currently Google Drive and Slack — each with its connection status.

  4. Click Connect next to a service. You'll be taken to that service's own sign-in and consent screen.

  5. Approve access and you'll land back in Omega with the connection showing Connected, along with the account it's tied to.

You can click Disconnect at any time to revoke a connection.

Note: Always connect with your work account. If you approve with a personal account, Omega will decline the connection with an "account doesn't match" message — just try again with the right one.

Integrations vs. client data sources

It's worth keeping two things straight:

  • Your connections (this article) are per-person tools agents act through — Drive, Slack.

  • Client data sources — ad platforms, analytics, nova — power the client's numbers across scans, reports, and chat. You can see their status in Settings → Client settings → Integrations, but connecting or fixing a client data source happens in nova, not here. If a client's data looks incomplete, that's the place to start.

Getting help

  • Connection won't complete, keeps asking you to sign in, or shows an authorization error? Reach out to the IT team — access and authentication issues are theirs to untangle.

  • A client data source missing or out of date? Head to nova to connect or update it; agents pick up the new data automatically.

Tip: If a deliverable failed to post to Slack or a Drive file wouldn't attach, check My connections first — a disconnected or expired connection is the most common cause, and reconnecting takes under a minute.
