Before you report anything: three quick checks
These account for most "Signal is wrong" reports.
Check the month selector. Almost every number respects it. A figure that looks catastrophic is often just the current, half-finished month.
Ask whether the two numbers are actually the same measurement. Finance figures and contract figures come from different systems and legitimately differ — see Where the numbers come from.
Refresh, or check the page's own refresh button. Most pages cache data for a few minutes to load quickly.
Reporting a wrong number properly
Use the flag control on the page where you saw it, or go to Corrections.
A good report contains four things:
Where — the page, the client or person, and the month selected
What you saw — the actual figure
What you expected — and where that expectation comes from
Why it matters — whether it's cosmetic or it's blocking a decision
That's enough for someone to reproduce it without a follow-up conversation. You can track the flag through Pending → Reviewed → Resolved on the Corrections page.
What Signal deliberately can't do
Not gaps — decisions. Knowing them saves a support round-trip:
Signal can't change finance figures. Revenue, gross profit, MRR and VABO belong to Finance. Corrections routes the conversation; it doesn't rewrite the number.
Signal can't change client or team records at the source. Those live in Nova.
Signal can't change a model score. Churn and expansion scores come from the weekly model run. You can disagree with one in a note — you can't edit it.
Signal doesn't backfill the current month. It fills in as Finance posts.
Finding the right guide
The Help & Docs button at the bottom of Signal's left sidebar opens this documentation, with a card at the top linking to the guide for the page you're currently looking at.
You can also search every guide from the panel, or browse the full list in Find your way around.
