Welcome to Signal

Signal is Power Digital's internal dashboard for revenue, client health and team performance. This page gets you oriented in about three minutes.

What Signal is for

Signal answers four questions that used to require chasing five different systems:

  1. How is the business doing? Revenue, gross profit, retention and headcount, by month, division and department.

  2. Which clients need attention? Client health scores, weekly check-ins, renewal outlooks and expansion opportunities.

  3. Who is carrying what? Revenue per person, who leads which client, and whether teams have capacity.

  4. Are we on plan? Targets, forecasts, hiring pipeline and profitability.

Signal pulls its numbers from the systems that already own them — Nova, our finance system, payroll, Salesforce, Gong and others — and puts them in one place. Signal does not replace those systems. For most things, Signal shows you the number; you change it where it lives.

Signing in

Sign in with your Google work account. Signal accepts Power Digital and Cardinal email addresses only.

If you can't sign in, or you get "Access restricted", that's an account issue rather than a Signal issue — contact the IT team.

The first thing you'll see

Signal opens on Summary — the company-wide dashboard. If you followed a link into a specific page, Signal takes you there instead after you sign in.

What you can see beyond Summary depends on your access level. Most people see a handful of sections; leadership sees more. See Who can see what if a page or section seems to be missing.

Getting around

Everything lives in the left sidebar, grouped into sections like Overview, People, Client Health and Finance. Two shortcuts are worth learning on day one:

  • Cmd/Ctrl + K — search for any client, employee or page.

  • The month selector at the top — almost every number in Signal is filtered to the month(s) selected here.

Find your way around walks through the full layout.

Where to get help

  • Help & Docs — the button at the bottom of the left sidebar. It opens this documentation and highlights the guide for the page you're currently on.

  • Getting help — who to contact for access, data problems and everything else.

Good to know before you start

  • Numbers are month-based. If a figure looks wrong, check the month selector first. It's the single most common cause.

  • Two revenue numbers can both be correct. Finance figures and contract figures come from different systems and legitimately differ. See Where the numbers come from.

  • Some scores are predictions, not facts. Churn risk and expansion readiness are model outputs meant to start a conversation, not settle one.

  • Recent months are still moving. The current month fills in as finance posts actuals, so early-month figures are incomplete by design.
