Where the toggle is
The theme toggle lives in the top bar, next to the notification bell, and it's there on every page — you never have to dig into settings to change themes.
The icon shows the mode you'd switch to, not the one you're in:
Working in dark mode? You'll see a sun — click it for light mode.
Working in light mode? You'll see a moon — click it to go dark.
What it changes
One click re-themes the entire platform — Chat, Workflow, Agents, settings, every board and panel. There are no per-page theme settings to manage; the whole app follows one switch.
Charts, signals, and status colors are tuned for both themes, so nothing becomes hard to read when you switch. Content itself is unaffected — your chats, signals, and files are identical in either mode; only the presentation changes.
Your choice sticks
Omega remembers your theme in the browser you set it in. Close the tab, sign out, come back next week — you'll land in the mode you left.
Note: The preference is saved per browser, not to your account. If you use Omega on a laptop and a desktop, or in two different browsers, set the theme once in each.
Which should you use?
Whichever you like — both are first-class. A few practical notes:
Light mode tends to project better. If you're screen-sharing with a client or presenting on a conference-room display, light mode usually reads more clearly from a distance.
Dark mode is easier on the eyes in dim rooms and long sessions, and many people find charts pop more against a dark background.
Screenshots inherit your theme. If you're grabbing images for a client deck or a doc that's on a white page, switch to light mode first so the screenshots match their surroundings.
Tip: The toggle is one click and instant, so it's perfectly reasonable to live in dark mode and hop to light just for a presentation — then hop back.
